Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2, 2026. This is the short version: GridCraft is a free static catalogue of printable graph paper. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

GridCraft does not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information, because we do not ask for them. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, response code) the way any web server does. That data is used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. It is not linked to a personal profile.

Cookies and storage

GridCraft itself sets no cookies. We do not run client-side analytics tags, behavioural tracking pixels, or session storage. Your browser may cache static assets (the stylesheet, the favicon, downloaded SVGs) for performance, the same way it caches assets on any other site. You can clear that cache at any time from your browser settings.

Advertising

The site is built with placeholder ad slots so that, if and when display advertising is enabled, it will appear inside dedicated regions rather than being injected on top of content. If a third-party ad network is enabled in the future, that network may use cookies under its own privacy policy. At that point this page will be updated with the network name and a link to its policy. As of the date above, no advertising network is active.

SVG downloads

Every template download is a static SVG file served directly from this site. Downloads are not tracked per-user and the files themselves contain no embedded telemetry, fonts loaded from a third party, or external image references. You can open any downloaded SVG in a text editor and read every byte.

External links

Some pages link out to standards bodies, manufacturers, or reference works for context. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before submitting any information to them.

Children

The site is suitable for use by minors under teacher or parent supervision. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, because the site does not collect personal information from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold essentially no personal data, there is very little to access, correct, or delete. If you have a specific concern about a server log entry tied to your IP address, write to us using the address on the contact page and we will do what we reasonably can.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change and the new version will be live before the change takes effect. Material changes (for example, enabling an analytics tag or an ad network) will also be called out on the home page for at least 30 days.
